Nigerian born Pop-African singer and songwriter, Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu popularly known as Ric Hassani just dropped a body of work titled “The Prince I Became” .

The 17-track album is mostly centered on love; not just romantic love but the love of family, friends and the divine love of God. It’s the kind of album to make you fall deep in love.
There was an intense use of modulation, soothing vocals and the backup singers killed it! It was all mushy except for this particular track “Thunder Fire You” which is a message to an ex and even the rendition of this hilarious song was done in a sweet way! This masterpiece is made up of different genres like Afropop, Latin Pop, Reggaeton, Gospel etc with features from Nicky Jam, Sauti Sol, Zoro, Kuami Eugene, Frank Edwards, Fumbani Changaya, CalledOut Music.
Although you might get bored at first because he talked about love love love, if you give it a second chance you’ll fall in love with the album. My best off the album is “My Kind of Woman, Mine Forever, Angel, Rain”. Don’t hesitate to tell me your best and why you love it.
From the outcome, you don’t need to be told that a lot of work was put into this project. It’s safe to say that we love the Prince that he has become (See what I did there😌). Here’s the link to the album, check it out and don’t forget to share my blog link with your family and friends 🤓. https://backl.ink/theprinceibecame
